David is retired from Sealed Air Corp. where he was a financial manager. Although David has lived in South Carolina for the past 45 yrs., he originally is from Jacksonville, FL, where he got his start in all types of saltwater fishing. David has been fishing in the Florida Keys for the past 30 years and has participated in the Dolphinfish Research Program since 2009. Since then, David has tagged and released nearly 500 fish of which 14 have been recovered. In addition to his time in the Keys, he fishes along the South Carolina coast, where he is active in the SCDNR tagging program, and he makes occasional fishing trips to Alaska. He has a keen interest in appropriate measures being determined and implemented to ensure the health of the dolphin fishery – for both domestic and international directed dolphin fisheries.
