Chris Whitley has spent the past 25 years fishing the southeast coast of Florida as well as in the USVIs, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, and Dominican Republic. Chris is an avid boater, diver and fisherman and was actively involved in the Boy Scout Tournament in St. Thomas and served as Official Score Keeper, and Calcutta Administrator for International Billfish Tournaments (Internationally recognized tournaments dedicated to the catch and releases of billfish), traveling extensively throughout the USVIs, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Dominican Republic, and Galapagos. Mr. Whitley currently holds the World Record King Mackerel at 93 lb set on April 18, 1999, in San Juan, Puerto Rico (picture left). Mr. Whitley has participated in the Dolphinfish Research Program since 2010 and currently resides in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
