Where was your fish caught?
This map displays Menta’s fishing trips. A blank map means participating boats did not fish recently. The graphs below display more information about Menta’s catch and local seafood purchases. This map is ready to display more boats that sign up to collaborate with MenTa.
Chef Taquin is a professional commercial fishermen. He fishes mostly on a 22′ SeaHawk off Arecibo and typically jigs for a variety of fish or trolls for dolphinfish.
Captain Robi Birriel is veteran Arecibo fishermen. He recently became a commercial fishermen and fishes out of Club Nautico de Arecibo.
This is the Beta SeasonalCatch Seafood Traceability Page for MenTa Cuisine. The fishing map and data are displayed in near-real time (> 6 hrs). MenTa’s Catch graph is an aggregate of all of the fish caught locally and brought to the restaurant over the past week. Only catch from boats participating in MenTa’s SeasonalCatch program are displayed on the map.
